This year’s Annual Shriner’s Imperial Session Conference held at the Charlotte Convention Center in NC was an exciting event showcasing all the activity from Shriners international, Shriner’s Children & Signature sport events. We partnered with Shriner’s this year by providing a Game Room and exhibition area with activations including interactive experiences in the Shriners Zone including the “First to Flight” NC theme and Flight Simulator experience for the attendees of the conference and Golf Simulator experience that attendees earned “Fezzy” tokens by participating in the activations. The tokens were then redeemable for gifts in the Shriners Gift store located within the gaming area. Also displayed was the Shriner’s motorsports area showcasing the racing car used in competition.
Every summer, Shriners from around the world come together for their annual business meeting, known as Imperial Session. During the week-long event, held in a different host city each year, members meet to discuss and vote on business matters of Shriners International and Shriners Hospitals for Children. The fraternity also hosts a variety of fun events including a parade and unit competitions. Other traditional events include a pageant for the incoming Imperial Potentate and the debut of the new patient success video and introduction of the National Patient Ambassadors. The exhibition area provided for a marketplace for Shriners and also the Shriners Zone Activity and Education area where attendees can unwind with interactive activities and learn about Shriner’s membership opportunities.

- Enter a basketball contest for a chance to win daily prizes
- Earn tokens for cool prizes
- Play golf in a golf simulator – with a real club and ball!
- Shoot free throws and three pointers in our basketball court
- Trade your pin with us
- Learn how you can volunteer to decorate our Rose Parade float
- Visit the Member Center to take photos in front of the Noble Academy step and repeat, pick up your Masters Class certificate and pin, get information about upcoming conferences and seminars and more.
- Attend an educational session in the SIEF Learning Center (in the Member Center)
- Learn more about our signature sporting events
- Purchase Shriners International Christmas ornaments at a discounted price
- Pick up some First Lady’s items for a donation to her program
- Talk to our donor relations representatives for all the ways you can help support Shriners Children’s
- Chill out and recharge your devices in our lounge area
- Find a hidden Fezzy (all around the convention center and Westin)
- Meet the friendly and helpful staff from Shriners International Headquarters
